  - אם התנגדות בין הפין 28 ו פין 2 הוא בין 0-0.2 אוהם, והתנגדות בין הפין 14 ו פין 1 הוא בין 0-0.2 אוהם, להחליף מהפך, ולאחר מכן עבור לשלב 4.
  - אם ההתנגדות חורגת מהטווח, תיקון יכול לרתום לקשר נתונים בין מהפך ו PEC, ולאחר מכן עבור לשלב 4.
